Tokenomics and yield review

Does the model survive contact with people trying to farm it?

What it is

A token model is a promise about the future: this much supply, released this fast, absorbed by this much demand. Most models are never tested against participants who are smarter and greedier than the spreadsheet assumed.

We model the thing as a system. Where emissions outrun sinks, where a reward can be captured without taking the risk it was meant to pay for, and what happens to the yield when volume halves and gas triples.

EMISSIONS vs SINKS, BY EPOCHemittedabsorbedE1E2E3E4E5E6E7break-even

What we examine

  • Emission schedule modelled against real sinks: fees, burns, locks, buybacks.
  • Reward accounting reviewed for timing attacks: deposit just before distribution, withdraw just after.
  • Yield sources traced to who actually pays them, and whether that source survives a downturn.
  • Liquidation and collateral parameters stress-tested under congestion and price gaps.
  • Governance economics: what a hostile holder with capital could pass, and what it would cost them.
  • Vesting and unlock cliffs mapped against expected liquidity.
  • Comparison against the documented model, so the code and the paper are proved to match.

What you get

01

A written model review stating where the economics hold and where they do not.

02

Stress scenarios with the parameter values at which the design breaks.

03

Specific parameter recommendations, not general advice.

04

A section your investors can read that does not require a finance degree.

How the engagement runs

  1. 01

    Scope

Whitepaper, parameters and the contracts that implement them, plus a fixed quote.

  2. 02

    Model

We rebuild your economics independently rather than trusting the spreadsheet you hand us.

  3. 03

    Stress

Adversarial scenarios: farming, timing, congestion, price gaps, hostile governance.

  4. 04

    Report

Where it holds, where it breaks, and the parameters that change the answer.

Questions we get asked

Is this financial advice?

No. It is an engineering and economic review of a mechanism. We state how the system behaves under defined conditions. We are not licensed to advise anyone on investing in it, and we do not.

Can you review a model before the contracts are written?

Yes, and that is the cheapest time to do it. Changing a parameter in a document costs nothing; changing it after launch costs your users money.

Do you review the code as well?

This review covers the model and whether the implementation matches it. Full line-by-line coverage is the Web3 and protocol audit, and the two are usually bought together.
